What is a limiting belief?
A limiting belief is a conclusion your mind drew from experience and then filed as permanent truth. It's not a personality trait. It's a decision the subconscious made, based on incomplete information.
The tricky part is that limiting beliefs don't announce themselves. They don't appear as thoughts you can question. They appear as feelings. As instincts. As the quiet voice that says "that's not for you" or "you're not ready" or "people like you don't get that." They feel like reality because, for your nervous system, they are.
That's what makes them so resistant to change through effort, willpower, or positive thinking. You can't argue your way out of a subconscious conclusion. You have to go back to where the conclusion was formed, and change it there.

The child who learned that "being different leads to rejection" became an adult who edits themselves before every interaction.
